Spanish Speaking Clinician/Therapist

COMPASS Mental Health Consultants, LLC is in search of a licensed mental health professional who speaks Spanish fluently. The individual will act as an independent contractor (1099 position) and should be available to work evenings Monday through Thursday. The individual should be available to work in both Montgomery County and Prince George's County to provide treatment specific individual therapy and parent sessions to youth with sexual behavior problems (also known as juvenile sex offenders). LCPC, LCSW-C, LGSW, Licensed or license eligible Psychologists with at least 2 years of clinical experience (pre-graduate and post-graduate experience will be considered).  Experience and/or training in the treatment of youth with sexual behavior problems preferred. Clinician should also be open to accepting cases of non-Spanish speaking clients and families as well.  Individual needs to be reliable, self-motivated, organized, with good writing and communication skills. Individual should expect to commit to a minimum of 16 weeks per case. Compensation to be decided upon review of experience.

Desired Skills and Expertise

-Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling

-License or License eligible in the state of Maryland as LCPC, LCSW-C, LGSW, or Psychologist

-Fluent in Spanish

-Clinical experience in providing therapy in Spanish preferred

-Clinical experience providing individual and family therapy with adolescent population

-Experience and/or training in the treatment of youth with sexual behavior problems preferred

Clinician/Therapist

Services will be rendered at the Department of Juvenile Services office in Largo, Maryland). The individual will act as an independent contractor (1099 position) and should be available to work in the evenings (Monday through Thursday). The individual should be available to work in Prince George's County to provide treatment specific individual therapy, and group therapy to youth with sexual behavior problems (also known as juvenile sex offenders) and parent consultation sessions to caregivers of youth. Applicants should be Licensed as a Professional Counselor or Social worker (LCPC, LCSW-C, LGSW), or Licensed or license eligible Psychologists in the state of Maryland with at least 2 years of clinical experience (pre-graduate and post-graduate experience will be considered).  Experience and/or training in the treatment of youth with sexual behavior problems preferred.
